I don’t really get this. In my delving into history, I have found nothing that makes Thomas Payne appear to be a Christian. God uses both nonbelievers and believers as He moves in the world of men to bring about His purposes. As Christians we are responsible for our faith. I don’t hear pastors teaching anything about these founders of America. They weren’t all Christians, but they weren’t all secular either.
